In March 2019 Windows 10 we managed to further widen the gap from the former leader in the desktop operating systems market Windows 7. This is evidenced by data collected by NetMarketShare.
Last month, the share of Windows 10 increased to 43.6% against 36.5% for Windows 7. A month earlier, the same indicators for the two operating systems were 40.3% and 38.41%, respectively, and back in January, the “seven” bypassed its successor in popularity.
Recall that at the beginning of 2020 Microsoft plans to end support for Windows 7, which was released almost ten years ago.
