When connecting a laptop to a separate monitor via VGA, there are no problems, but during normal operation it is buggy

Can you please tell me why the laptop barely pulls in normal game mode, gets very hot, always freezes (and I'm used to it). But when I connect it to another monitor via VGA, with approximately the same parameters as a laptop monitor, there are no problems at all.

With what it can be connected?

Expert answer:

Hello Alimzhan! The problem, for sure, lies in the settings of the video adapter used. To clarify the possible reason, answer a few questions:

  1. What model of laptop and monitor?
  2. What are the settings (resolution) of the screen?
  3. Operating system version?
  4. Have the video adapter drivers been updated?
  5. Does the problem manifest itself only in games, or at any load?
