The Austrian publisher continues to add to the list of his intellectual property.
THQ Nordic has already acquired German publishing house HandyGames this summer and the rights to franchises such as TimeSplitters, Second Sight and Kingdoms of Amalur.
Now this 'shopping list' has been added to the Act of War strategy series and the famous horror game Alone in the Dark. Until recently, both brands belonged to the French company Atari, SA.
No plans for the newly acquired franchises have been announced yet.
Perhaps THQ will be able to revive the illustrious horror series that Atari failed to do. Alone in the Dark: Illumination, the last game in the series so far, has been trashed by both the press and players, becoming one of the worst projects of 2015.
