Many had to re-download all 50 GB of games.
The start of beta testing for Fallout 76 on PC was overshadowed by a strange bug in Bethesda Launcher. Shortly before unlocking the pre-downloaded game, the application began reporting that the files were corrupted and started the download process over.
Given that the beta test is only available at certain times, many simply did not have time to play Fallout 76 in the allotted time.
This problem has now apparently been resolved, and as compensation, Bethesda has extended the time for the next beta testing session by four hours: it will run from 21:00 on November 1 to 06:00 on November 2, Moscow time.
