Before its bankruptcy, Telltale Games managed to release only two of the four episodes of The Walking Dead: The Final Season.
Now, as previously reported, the responsibility for completing the game has been taken over by Skybound Entertainment, which publishes The Walking Dead.
According to the executive director of Skybound Ian Howe, further development will be entrusted to the former Telltale employees, who previously worked on the game. Of course, the company understands that not all developers will be able or willing to return to the project, but Howe hopes that Skybound does not have to involve too many outsiders.
The first two episodes of The Final Season were released in August and September of this year, respectively. An exact release date for the remaining two parts has yet to be announced, but the third episode is expected to be available by the end of 2018.
