Samsung has announced the abandonment of the Galaxy J line of smartphones

Samsung will no longer produce inexpensive Galaxy J smartphones. Younger models from the Samsung Galaxy A family will take their place in the company's product line.

The South Korean manufacturer announced the abolition of the Galaxy J line in a video posted on YouTube. According to company representatives, the updated Galaxy A series, which replaced the old family of budget gadgets, is designed to make advanced mobile technologies available to a wide range of consumers.

Samsung currently has five Galaxy A smartphones released in 2019 in its arsenal: Galaxy A10, A20, A30, A50 and A70. The company will announce several more new products tomorrow, April 10.
