Radionomy is working on a new version of Winamp

The legendary Winamp media player, which enjoyed huge popularity in the 90s and early 2000s, may return.

According to MSPoweruser, Radionomy, which bought the rights to the project closed in 2013, is probably working on a new version of the program.

Despite the fact that the development of the update was not officially announced, the beta version of the fresh Winamp assembly has already appeared on the Web. The application has received a number of fixes and improvements, including support for modern decoders and the ability to automatically play videos in full screen mode.
