AMD has released the latest version of the Radeon Software Adrenalin driver package – 19.3.2. In addition to the traditional bug fixes and performance improvements in new games, the list of changes in the software package also contains something unusual – support for DirectX 12 in Windows 7.
The ability to use the latest version of the graphics API Microsoft in Windows 7 has so far been implemented only in one project – World of Warcraft. Whether DirectX 12 support will appear in other games for the 'seven' depends entirely on their developers.
Other changes in Radeon Adrenalin 19.3.2 include optimizations for Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 and Sid Meier’s Civilization VI: Gathering Storm, as well as bug fixes for Radeon WattMan and ReLive for VR.
