Upcoming processors with AMD Zen 2 microarchitecture will be able to perform 13% more operations per clock cycle than current Ryzen chips.

AMD Zen 2 processors should go on sale next year. They will be manufactured using a 7-nanometer process technology and will surpass their predecessors not only in IPC, but also in clock frequency. Thus, the real performance gain will exceed 13%.
