European online stores have started selling the yet unannounced AMD A6-9400 APU, designed to be installed in motherboards with socket AM4. Its cost is about $ 35.
The processor part of the chip consists of two cores based on the Excavator architecture, clocked at 3.7 GHz. The APU also includes a DDR4-2400 MHz memory controller and a Radeon R5 graphics accelerator with 384 shader units. The TDP of the processor is 65 W.
AMD plans to officially present the new product on March 20.
