Micron's range of products has expanded to include the 2200 solid state drives, which include M.2 2280 models with 256, 512 and 1024 GB capacities. All the main components of the devices, including the memory controller and 3D TLC NAND chips, are manufactured by the manufacturer independently.
The Micron 2200 SSD uses a PCIe 3.0 x4 interface with NVMe 1.2.1 protocol, which provides high throughput – up to 3000 MB / s read and up to 1600 MB / s write. Performance when working with 4K data blocks is 210-240 thousand IOPS, and the rewriting resource is from 75 to 300 TB, depending on the capacity of the drive.
Information on the cost of new products is not yet available.
