Good afternoon. On my laptop Lenovo Ideapad 310-15ISK has windows 10 on a standard hdd and on this disk it is possible to reinstall windows 10 to the factory state (Novo / OneKey Recovery button, etc.). I want to put an SSD disk instead of the standard hdd and put the system on it. hdd disk will replace the missing CD-Rom. The question is: is it possible to install a system from hdd to SSD using the Novo / OneKey Recovery function (without bootable flash drives and copying the system from disk to disk) and what settings need to be made in Bios?
I would be grateful if you answer to email. mail.
Hello, Alexander! With Lenovo OneKey Recovery, you will be able to restore the system, but not transfer it. To realize your idea, use third-party software, for example “Macrium Reflect”.
