Installation problem Windows 7

I am trying to install Windows 7. But during installation, an error appears: 'There is not enough disk space on which you want to install the system, at least 16146 MB'. I put 60 GB, but the installer keeps giving the same error. Tell me how you can fix this?

Expert answer:

Hello Maxim!

The main reason for your problem lies in the 'Reserved by the system' section, it is in this section that the OS boot files are written and if 5-10 MB is allocated for the section (on average, up to 100 MB), this error will haunt you.

Therefore, you need, using third-party software, for example, 'Acronis Disk Director', to increase the 'Reserved by the system' partition to the required size. Or in this section, check 'junk files', for example, unnecessary backup files.

For correct operation, at least 100 MB of free space is recommended.
