The iFixit laboratory has examined the flagship smartphone Huawei P30 Pro for maintainability. Having disassembled the gadget, experts came to the conclusion that it would be difficult to repair it in most cases.
The main complaints from iFixit employees were caused by the excessive use of durable glue inside the device. Removing the components Huawei of the P30 Pro was not easy and there was a high risk of damage to the glass panels covering the front and back during disassembly. On the positive side, the researchers noted the use of standard fasteners and the modular design of the main components.
As a result of the 'autopsy', the smartphone received a score of four out of ten for maintainability.
