If you have a dual SIM phone, it may be necessary to use the WhatsApp messenger on each number. You can get by with the functionality of a mobile device or resort to installing third-party programs.
First, it's worth checking if your smartphone supports cloning.
To do this, go to the tab 'Settings', 'Applications', 'Create clone'. We are looking for the messenger icon, go to it and, if such an opportunity is available, turn it on.
Unfortunately, not all phones support this. It is for such users that there are applications aimed at solving this problem.
We go to Google Play, look for the desired program and install it.
Then everything is simple:
- Launch and tick WhatsApp;
- Create a clone and enter it;
- We indicate a new number;
- We get two active accounts.
If desired, this application can allow you to set up more than two accounts, but for this you need to purchase a paid version.
Can be installed with Messenger and used on the same device. All you need is to link each program to a separate SIM card.
Download the application via Google Play. We enter by indicating the work number. If you want to connect the messenger to your personal number, you need to transfer data.
To do this, you need to create a backup copy of WA Messenger messages, then specify a work number in the Business version, then replace it with a personal number in the main messenger.
To Android 8
To start clones in Android 8, go to 'Settings', 'Additional functions', 'Messaging applications'. We are looking for the WhatsApp icon and put a check in front of it. After that, the second shortcut of the messenger we need will appear in the 'Applications' tab. Go to it and register under the second phone number.
