Google launches corporate social network Currents

Google has launched a beta version of Currents, a social network targeted at corporate users. The new service is based on the private Google+ project.

The ability to sign up for Currents is available to G Suite line-of-business subscribers. With the help of the new social network, employees and leaders of organizations will be able to communicate and exchange ideas, publish working documents, notes and more.

Users who previously had Google+ accounts will have access to all of their content immediately after registering with Currents.
