The Google Docs cloud service has acquired full support for documents created in the office suite Microsoft Office. Now you can edit such files in Docs without prior conversion, reports The Verge.
Google Online Office supports word processing Microsoft Word documents, Excel spreadsheets and presentations PowerPoint. Supported formats include .doc, .docx, xls, .xlsx, .ppt, .pptx and others.
So far, the new functions of Google Docs are available only to corporate clients of the Internet giant, but by the end of spring, all users will have the ability to edit MS Office files.
