Galaxy Technology has unveiled HOF M.2 PCIe SSD with PCI Express and NVMe support. To cope with the rather intense heating of the device, the manufacturer equipped it with an aluminum heatsink with a heat pipe.
HOF M.2 PCIe
HOF M.2 PCIe is based on 3D TLC NAND flash memory chips, which are controlled by an eight-channel Phison PS5012-E12 controller. The maximum sequential read and write speeds are 3400 and 2800 MB / s, respectively, and the performance when working with 4K data blocks is 400-600 thousand IOPS.
The SSD will go on sale in three modifications with a capacity of 512, 1024 and 2048 GB. Their cost has not yet been announced.
