Mod creation has been and remains a very popular activity with fans of previous Fallouts, and it looks like Bethesda is not going to deprive players of this opportunity in the new part of the game. However, given that the game has completely gone online, these possibilities will be quite limited.
So, support for mods will appear in Fallout 76 no earlier than November next year. In addition, it will not be possible to use any modifications on the official servers.
At the same time, Bethesda plans to give players the opportunity to create their own game servers some time after the release, and server creators will be able to install fan add-ons on them.
