In August, the release date for Battlefield V was pushed back by a month, from October 19 to November 20. As a sort of apology for the postponement, EA DICE decided to give players an in-game bonus.
Those who log into the game within the first week of release will receive two Oscar Mike items: a helmet and an emblem.
Oscar Mike is the designation of the Latin letters O and M for radio communication. This combination of letters can also mean phrases such as on the move ('on the way') and on mission ('on a mission').
