At a press conference at the Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino, the company Apple announced the streaming video service Apple TV +. Its users will be offered both original shows produced by itself Apple and content from partners.
The full launch of Apple TV + will take place simultaneously in 100 countries of the world in autumn. At first, at least 25 TV series, films and conversation shows will be available to subscribers. Steven Spielberg, JJ Abrams, Oprah Winfrey, Jason Momoa and other famous directors, actors and producers are taking part in their creation.
The new streaming service will become part of the updated app Apple TV, where in May it will be possible to subscribe to third-party TV channels. HBO, Starz, CBS, UMC, Showtime, Hulu and Amazon will start selling their content through the platform Apple.
The amount of user fees Apple TV + will be announced later by the Cupertino company.
