AMD is already testing Navi video accelerators

AMD has begun testing the first samples of video accelerators on the Navi architecture.

7nm Navi GPUs will replace AMD's current graphics generation in the second half of 2019. The new video adapters will belong to the mid-price segment and thus become the successors of not AMD Vega, but Polaris. In terms of performance, they will be able to compete with the Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080, while their price will be only $ 250.

Following Navi, we recall that AMD plans to release GPU Arcturus.
