Amazon is about to launch a free music service. The company is currently in talks with several major record labels to participate in the project, Billboard reports.
It should be noted that Amazon already has a Music streaming platform available through subscription. The company does not plan to charge a fee for listening to music in the new service, however, users will have to listen to audio advertisements between tracks. The streaming service will also work on smart speakers Echo.
The official announcement of the music service may take place next week.
